Rojales lies in the south of Alicante province, in the fertile Vega Baja del Segura, surrounded by Guardamar del Segura, Benijófar, Formentera del Segura and Torrevieja. The river Segura runs through the old town, which keeps a historic bridge and a traditional market-town atmosphere with quiet streets and a weekly market. Within the municipality sits Ciudad Quesada, a large residential area of detached villas, townhouses and bungalows with its own golf course, La Marquesa, plus shops, restaurants, private clinics and schools nearby.

The surroundings are varied: orchards and palm groves along the river, walking routes, and – roughly 10–15 minutes by car – the beaches of Guardamar, known for their dune system and pine forest, as well as those of La Mata and Torrevieja. The La Mata and Torrevieja salt lakes are also close by.

The climate is Mediterranean, with mild winters, hot summers and plenty of sunshine. Rojales is very well connected: Alicante-Elche Airport (ALC) is about 30–35 minutes via the N-332 or the motorway, and Región de Murcia Airport (RMU, Corvera) about 45–50 minutes. Alicante city and Murcia are both under an hour away.

Rojales is ideal for buyers wanting a villa with a plot and pool near the coast but without the density of the seafront, for golfers, for families and for residents who want all services close at hand all year round. It has a large, long-established international community, which makes settling in easy.
