Property for sale in Los Montesinos
Los Montesinos is a relaxed Spanish town in the Vega Baja area, around ten kilometres inland and right next to the La Mata and Torrevieja salt lagoons natural park. It still feels like a real working town, with its own square, shops and local fiestas, yet the beaches of Torrevieja and Guardamar are only about a quarter of an hour away by car. It is a good fit if you want more space and somewhat gentler prices than on the seafront. CasaAqui Costa helps you find a villa, house, apartment, plot or commercial unit and supports you through the whole purchase.

Los Montesinos sits inland in the Vega Baja district, between the farmland of the Segura valley and the large salt lagoons of Torrevieja. Its municipal area borders the La Mata and Torrevieja Lagoons Natural Park, one of the most distinctive landscapes in southern Alicante, known for its pink water in summer and for waterbirds such as flamingos. The surroundings are flat and open, with fields, low-density residential areas and the town centre as the hub for everyday services.
The climate is classic dry Mediterranean: mild winters, very few rainy days and hot summers. Because it is slightly back from the coast, winter nights can be a touch cooler than on the seafront, while in summer the sea breeze still reaches the town in the afternoon.
The location is practical. Torrevieja and Guardamar del Segura are about 10–15 minutes away, and there are several golf courses in the wider area. Alicante-Elche airport (ALC) is roughly 35–40 minutes by car and Región de Murcia airport (RMU, Corvera) about 45–50 minutes.
Los Montesinos suits families who want to live here year-round in a town with a school and services, retirees who prefer peace and quiet, and buyers looking for a house or villa with a plot at a more reasonable price than on the coast. Our listings are mostly houses and villas, plus a few apartments, commercial units and building plots. As a rough guide, commercial units and smaller homes start at around €100,000–110,000, the typical asking price is roughly €250,000–270,000, and the occasional exceptional estate sits far above that. Prices change daily, so check the latest listings.
CasaAqui Costa can help with your NIE, bank account, notary and translations, and can also manage your property as a holiday rental.
